Our favorite drink to make with our Tidewater Rum is by-far is a Mojito. What a classic summer cocktail to share with friends.
- 4-6 fresh mint leaves
- 4 lime wedges (1/2 lime)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 shot of Tidewater Rum
- Club Soda
Place mint leaves, lime wedges and sugar into a sturdy glass. Use a muddler to crush the mint and lime to release the mint oils and lime juice, press with the muddler, don’t grind it. Do not strain the mixture. Fill the glass almost to the top with ice. Pour the rum over the ice, and fill the glass with club soda. Stir, taste, and add more sugar if desired. Garnish with remaining lime wedge and enjoy.
We like to make them by the pitcher, if you do too multiply the recipe to fill your pitcher.
